An artisanal commitment: helping to rebuild after the DANA

Thousands of homes and businesses have been devastated by the effects of the DANA, leaving behind stories of interrupted efforts and dreams to be rebuilt. At Daniel Chong , when everything happened, we felt a deep helplessness when we saw the magnitude of the tragedy. We are very aware of how difficult it is to get a business going, and we cannot imagine how hard it must be to start from scratch again…

A commitment to craftsmanship

After some reflection, we found an answer in the Adopt a Business platform, which connects people with affected local businesses. Through this initiative, we learned the story of Miguel Sanchís Dasí SL , a 45-year-old artisan upholstery shop located in Sedaví, Valencia, one of the areas most affected by the DANA.

We spoke to Javier, the owner of the workshop, who shared with us his difficult situation and the urgent need for basic tools and materials to start over. From that moment on, we knew we wanted to do something meaningful.

The art of upholstery is a craft that should not be lost, and at Daniel Chong we believe in supporting these traditions. We know how difficult it is to run a business, and the devastation left behind by a tragedy like this is unimaginable.

What have we prepared?

To support Javier and his partner, we have launched a charity category: " DANA Donation " . In this section, you will find 36 carefully selected products, and we will allocate 100% of the sales to rebuilding his workshop. With each purchase, you will be helping to acquire essential tools such as air compressors, staplers, industrial sewing machines and upholstery material, essential to get the business going again.

Access the collection here.

Direct Donations

Additionally , if you wish to make a direct donation, you can find the bizum and bank account details of Miguel Sanchíz Dasí SL in his Adopta un Comercio profile .
