Place of delivery

Delivery will take place at the address provided in the order. If at the time of delivery there is no one to collect the package, a second attempt will be made in which the carrier will contact you using the number indicated in the order.

To avoid possible problems with delivery, we recommend that you provide as much detail as possible in the address, confirm each piece of information and ensure that the contact telephone number provided is functional.

For deliveries in Spain, you can have your order delivered to a Parcel Shop in our carrier's network. You will receive an email from them where you can arrange delivery to the nearest Parcel Shop / Convenience Point. You also have the option of local collection, Calle del Amparo 42, 28012, Madrid.

International Shipping

If your order is addressed to a country outside the European Union, the shipment may be subject to duties, taxes or other charges due to local and/or customs laws. We will send your package via UPS, which means that Daniel Chong SL will be responsible for delivering it, but will not be responsible for any possible customs charges or local taxes.

The person to whom the order is addressed will be responsible for all customs costs associated with the importation of the products (even if they refuse the order).

4. RETURNS

For Daniel Chong Spain SL. it is very important that all our customers are satisfied with their orders. We hope you enjoy your purchase in our online store. If for any reason the purchase does not satisfy you or you have changed your mind, you have the option of returning it (only for online orders, for purchases in physical stores only exchanges for other items are allowed) within 15 days after the purchase and you will receive a full refund of your money except for the direct cost of returning the products which is borne by the customer. For purchases made in November and December 2023, the return and exchange period has been extended to January 15, 2024.

In order for a return to be accepted, all merchandise must be in perfect condition and accompanied by the original receipt. Refunds will be made in the same payment method selected at the time of purchase. 

If you wish to return an item sent by Daniel Chong Spain SL , these returns are carried out exclusively by our carrier and we will be the ones to contact them so that they can come to your address to collect the return package.

How does it work?

1. Enter the order number and your email address.

2. Select the products you want to return and tell us the reason.

3. Indicate whether you prefer to obtain credit in our store or return the product and get a refund (shipping costs not included)

4. If you choose a refund, pack the order and close it, indicating our details:

The product must be returned in its original packaging. If the product is damaged we will not be able to accept the return.

Only the amount of the product is refunded, we do not pay logistics costs. Therefore, in the case of a return, logistics costs will be deducted.

Please note that if you complete the online return process on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, we will not be able to collect your package until Monday of the following week.

Shopping in physical stores

You have 30 days to exchange your product and no returns are accepted, only exchanges, or you can opt for a voucher valid for one year.

In order for a return to be accepted, all merchandise must be in perfect condition and accompanied by the original receipt. Refunds will be made in the same payment method selected at the time of purchase.

5. CHANGES

I have changed my mind

If you have changed your mind and want to exchange your product for a different one, contact us within the first 15 days after receiving the item.

We recommend that you make a new purchase and specify the order number you wish to return. This way, the delivery person who will deliver your new order will collect the previous one. Once we have received the return, we will proceed to issue the refund.

Please note that shipping costs are your responsibility.

Wrong article : 

If you have received the wrong item in your order, you can return it and we will replace it with the correct item.

Product damaged or with manufacturing defect: 

  • If the item you received is damaged or has a manufacturing defect, you can return it and after evaluating it, we will exchange it for another one. Send us an email with photo(s) of the product and receipt of purchase to hola@daniel-chong.com or contact us through the contact form and we will explain how to proceed.
  • We do not accept returns of items with breakages resulting from misuse or wear over time.

10. RESPONSIBILITY

Our fabrics are made by from recycled clothing and products. By using a greater amount of recycled materials, we contribute to increasing the sustainability of the fashion sector.

Recycled materials

We use raw materials obtained from recycling, such as thread made from plastic bottles (rPET), thus contributing to the sustainability of our sector. The separate collection and subsequent recycling of PET helps reduce plastic waste in landfills, and less waste in landfills means significantly lower toxic emissions from incineration plants. On the other hand, the use of these fabrics increases the durability and resistance of the materials we use. Thus, we all win with this sustainable way of manufacturing.

Carbon negative

The carbon footprint is an environmental indicator that reflects the amount of greenhouse gases produced as a result of a given activity. Our 2023 production emitted more than 100,000 tons of CO2, of which we have reforested twice through forest carbon projects. These projects help restore and preserve forests, as well as support the socioeconomic development of disadvantaged communities through tree planting. This action grants us the Carbon Negative certification.

In addition to our own workshop in Madrid, where we make many of our products by hand, we have the help of workshops in Pamplona and Elche, led by women, where artisans with extensive experience work. Likewise, the vegetable tanned leather of Ubrique, in the province of Cádiz, is a treasure of Spain's artisanal heritage and has significant importance both regionally, nationally and internationally, due to its centuries-old artisanal heritage, transmitted from generation to generation. as an intrinsic part of the culture and identity of the region.
